About
Kent Jewett, Owner of Property Enhancement Group, graduated from the North Carolina State University School of Engineering in the mid 80’s and went on to work for Duke Energy in the Rates Department and as an Industrial Power Engineer for 5 years.
Kent’s interest in energy conservation led him to leave Duke and pursue a career in energy efficient lighting where he spent two years in the North East utilizing aggressive utility rebate programs to increase company sales.
After returning to the Carolinas, Kent opened Spectrum Lighting Technologies, Inc. to fill a void in the marketplace that just started utilizing T8 lighting technology. Spectrum Lighting helped Duke with the creation of their first Pilot Lighting rebate program.
Kent has worked with multiple ESCO’s over the years including Duke Energy Services, Enron and Trane. His experience ranges from Industrial facility upgrades to school systems, government facilities, detention centers and small commercial applications.
Property Enhancement Group Co. LLC is a Duke Energy Trade Ally, a Preferred Efficiency Partner with “Duke Energy One’s” Direct Efficiency Program, as well as Duke’s Smart Path Program. PEG is also a trade ally with multiple southeastern utility rebate programs.
