The commercial market lends itself to a much more simplistic approach.
Typically, a commercial project's design criteria is limited to a retrofit in which fixtures are upgraded on a one for one basis or what is commonly referred to as "outlet for outlet".
Our design approach is to focus on the following objectives:
Increase light levels.
Increase the color rendering index – CRI.
Utilize the most efficient LED technologies.
Reduce fixture quantity and/or number of lamps.
Improve fixture appearance.
Improve store appearance.
Minimize maintenance.
A good deal of our work in this market has been on renovations or up fits of commercial spaces. These projects present additional challenges to the lighting engineer. And we love a good challenge.
